Willow Glen Children's Theatre
Your child will participate in the entire process of creating an original play, from the very first spark of an idea to the final moment of taking a bow on stage!
This workshop draws children in right from the start with theatre games and improvised scenes. Each workshop culminates in an original production! After getting to know the actors, our director writes a play with characters based on their individual talents and abilities. The children perform the original pay for their family, friends, and the community. We hold two sessions each year, one starting late fall and the other in January / February.
The workshops, rehearsals and performances take place at the Willow Glen Community Center.

WINTER SESSION 2027

- Cost: $186 (plus $4 for non-San Jose residents)

- When: Starts September 2026; meets Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Occasional weekday rehearsals for some actors, 4-6pm.
- Performances: Usually in the first weekend of December

- When: Typically starts in late January or early February; Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Occasional weekday rehearsal for some actors, 4-6pm.
- Performances: Typically Fri-Sun in late April 2027
- Registration: Will open in December 2026
